Telehealth Consent Policy

Telehealth involves the delivery of psychological care and consultation services using secure video, audio, or digital communication technologies. By participating in telehealth services with Mindra Care, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

Nature of Telehealth Services

  • Telehealth sessions are conducted using video conferencing tools or phone consultations.

  • These services are designed to replicate in-person psychological care while providing flexibility and accessibility from a remote location.

Informed Consent

By agreeing to use telehealth services, you confirm that:

  • You understand the scope, limitations, and benefits of digital therapy.

  • You have the right to ask questions about the process and receive clarification before or during the course of treatment.

  • You may withdraw your consent or discontinue telehealth at any time without affecting your right to future care or services.

Confidentiality and Security

  • Telehealth sessions are conducted through secure, encrypted platforms that comply with relevant privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

  • Despite security efforts, there is a small risk of data breach or technical failure that may compromise confidentiality.

  • You are responsible for ensuring privacy at your location during the session (e.g., choosing a quiet, secure room).

Emergencies and Limitations

  • Telehealth is not suitable for handling emergency mental health situations. In such cases, you should call local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency facility.

  • Technical issues may sometimes interfere with communication. In such cases, we will attempt to reconnect or reschedule as needed.

Records and Documentation

  • Your telehealth sessions will be documented and stored securely, like in-person sessions, in accordance with applicable medical and psychological standards.

  • You may request access to these records by contacting the clinic directly.

Fees and Cancellations

  • Telehealth sessions are billed at the same rate as in-person sessions unless otherwise specified.

  • Cancellations and no-show policies apply equally to telehealth sessions (refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy).

Your Consent

By scheduling and participating in a telehealth session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Telehealth Consent Policy.
